Dead Gods Tattoo

"I booked my first consultation with Tyson several months ago. I had this idea for an arm sleeve that was kind of hard to explain, but Tyson drew up a crazy mock-up that exceeded my expectations. We worked together to determine the placement of all the individual pieces and to hash out a timeline for everything. My goal was to get everything completed as quickly as possible, allowing time for healing as necessary. We got to work a couple weeks later and began working on my sleeve. Tyson made sure I was 100% comfortable with the design, placement, and style of the tattoo as we approached each session. I should mention that this was my first tattoo, so I didn't really have any idea of what to expect. I knew it would suck, but that was about it. And it sucked - really, really bad. But Tyson made it a much more enjoyable process. He's funny as hell, holds a great conversation (but will not force it), and is a master of his craft. Now, as I approach the end of my sleeve, I just want to say, first of all - thank you to Tyson for the incredible work, and thank you to everyone at Dead God's for being great people. All of the artists at this shop are talented in their own ways and they have all been very nice to me each time I've visited the shop. It's bittersweet to be finished with my sleeve, as I've really enjoyed the process (for the most part). The pain, fatigue, and investment were all worth it, and I'm leaving with a newfound appreciation and respect for the art of tattooing. All I can say is - if you're looking to get a black and gray realism-style tattoo, I'm convinced Tyson is one of the best artists in the PNW. I definitely suggest checking out his work and seeing for yourself!"
