"the haircut & shave was excellent. all though its been three months & the shop owners are really great personable guys, they miss us / me & my son its been a long time coming for the guys & me and my Lil guy we had really good time. the service was excellent & we got to watch 30 for 30 futuring Bruce lee who was my favorite material artist growing up. the best whoever did it, so yeah. It was good to finely be able to return to the barber shop get our haircut & we all had a good time catching up on things like political views & religion ...so yeah we miss them & they missed us. all is well with there family & we had a great time, & of course i tipped my barber for the excellent service. "My son has been getting his hair cut from them for 8 or 9 years now, ever since they first opened on 93rd and Foster. A barbershop for black hair was much needed in this neighborhood. They do great work. My reason for three stars is because there doesn't seem to be any set hours, there aren't any posted on the door so I have no idea what days and times they are open. There is also no business phone so if you want a haircut you need to have one of the barber's phone numbers. They do take walk ins, but it could be a two hour wait if they're busy. It's also cash only. It's a very relaxed vibe though and almost always great conversation. I do wish that they would mop their floors every day and make the seating area a little more comfortable. And have washrags available for wiping the hair clippings off of your face after a cut. We're loyal customers though. Those things are not a big deal, but worth mentioning."
