"First time at this barbershop. Had and apt for me and my son. We get there and turns out my son’s apt had been canceled with Mychal, no notice, nothing. So I just had my guy, Blake cut his hair. Just annoys me that they require 24hr cancellation notice but can’t give the same respect back. The only reason this is a 3 star review is because my son loved his cut and because Blake called me to apologize on Mychal’s behalf. Thank you Blake for taking care of my son."

"Just an FYI for my queer friends wanting to get your hair cut here, it’s no longer the safe space it used to be! I remember coming here a few years back and feeling really happy to be in a space full of visibly queer people but now it seems to be full of men just like any other barbershop. I wish they would live up to the name “take PRIDE” but I guess not… super disappointing. Into to mention, I’ve had some pretty terrible RUSHED haircuts here"

"Super friendly and great atmosphere. Sadly that's the best part of my experience. I had a hair cut and face shave w/straitblade and cleaned up my goatee. Not trying to be rude but it's the worst shave I've ever had! Lots of missed hairs on my cheeks and around my goatee. Worst part is the bottom edge under my chin is WAYYYY crooked. I did better m'y very first time deciding to rock a goatee having zero experience managing facial hair. Now I have to raise the line up to make it even. Worse than when I do it and no where close to the crisp shave you would expect. Side fade is great too is sloppy. Awkward moment mid way through my service another worker started taking pictures for social media. I know I could say no but I assumed by what I was being told it was going to turn out great. I wasted a LOT of money on a bad service. I'm going to assume it's just my specific barber because the reviews here are great and the pictures look awesome on their site. Red flag should have been when I asked for a pattern in my skin fade and he said he doesn't do those because they don't turn out good. Clearly the showcase photos on the site are from other stylists. Goatee was so bad it wasnt worth asking to do anything else and risk it getting botched any further."
