"I enjoy this place because of the meat prices, high quality brands and dog treats but it is very hard to maneuver around the store with my guide dog since it’s so small and compact. I don’t think people with a wheelchair or a service dog larger than 30lbs like myself will do well with getting around without assistance from a trusted person."

"Nice little market with some great produce and meat selections. We purchased the sockeye salmon last week and the meat department recommended the Tacoma Boys "savory salmon" seasoning. OMG, great choice! Our baked salmon was super delicious! With the addition of some asparagus we purchased there and crusty bread, it was a fabulous meal. I like the variety of fruit here which is always fresh. Some fun candy and other sweets do tempt me- occasionally. Highly recommend."

"A variety of specialty items and LOTS of wine, and small batch beer options, and it looks like a nice neighborhood butcher shop with seafood section. I can't attest to the quality but will certainly update once we do. Prices are reasonable, but not inexpensive. I have to say there us a lot of pottery, one reason we stopped. (buy one, get two free!) But the price of one is basically the cost of three somewhere else, from what I could see labeled. We will be back to try the wonderful produce and butcher shop. "Always some very good prices on the best quality locally grown fruit, vegetables, and meat, especially if you shop the weekly specials. Most"pantry items" are very expensive, but are high quality items from small specialty suppliers. I wish more of those things were within my budget, but that's my problem not theirs. The fruit quality is outstanding and there's always something great that's priced very low. Most recently I bought Comice pears for $1.99/lb that are the same paper wrapped "Christmas pears" that are packed in expensive mail order gift boxes. Absolutely incredible. Don't miss their huge wall of their own brand of very large jars of herbs/spices that are much larger, cheaper, and higher quality than the regular grocery store. They only have a few choices (usually a few kinds of turkey, ham, and roast beef), but their sliced deli meats are top quality and very significantly cheaper than any grocery store. So yes, it's generally considered an expensive specialty market, but a smart shopper familiar with their offerings can get some of the best stuff cheaper than the big grocery stores."
