"Got my long hair cut here yesterday and while it doesn't look BAD it's definitely not what I asked for. Hair was longer on one side than the other and I had to fix it when I got home, also more hair got cut off than I wanted like 3-4" more. It's hair and it will grow back so whatever, this place is good if you need a quick cut on short notice but I don't think I'll return. My stylist was very kind and nice to talk to however, everyone was very friendly! I'd just make sure you watch carefully to get what you're wanting."

"I travel extensively from New York to Kirkland and have been so busy. Called this morning to see if I can come in for a haircut. Very accommodating and Jerry was my stylist. He knew exactly what I wanted and I enjoyed talking with him. My other family members go to this place also."

"I've never cried over a haircut until I went to The Shop this Tuesday. The lady who cut my hair (I can't remember her name) was really friendly and she had me in a chair within a minute of walking into the store, so no complaints there. Personality aside, I came in for a professional haircut and left feeling like I had just let a little kid cut the hair that I'd spent two years growing out. I asked for layers, since my hair had grown out from a blunt bob, and said that I liked to either wear my hair natural, or straighten it. The layers she gave me are ridiculously choppy and so uneven it's a joke. I'm going to have to lose more hair to fix this cut, so I just lost about a year of grow out. There may be other employees at this salon who are amazing at their jobs, but after my experience I will never go back to this location and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone."
