"I recently visited Metropolitan Market Queen Anne (Uptown) and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The store was clean, well-organized, and had a wide variety of products to choose from. The staff was friendly and helpful, making my shopping trip a breeze. One thing that stood out to me was the produce section. It was filled with fresh and locally sourced fruits and vegetables. I also appreciated the selection of organic and healthy options available throughout the store. Another highlight was the deli and prepared foods section. "Just our favorite store. Expensive. But great salad bar, great produce, deli counter is great. The wine selection is stellar. We love the little housewares section. Have probably spent too much money there. However butcher is not great, not helpful and has done everything he can to not help me every time I ask a question. But I can get meat elsewhere. Overall we love this place. Parking is super easy."

"I’ve been going to this metropolitan for years. My husband and I just moved into our new place and decided to come here to buy our first round of groceries. We got to the registers and waited a few minutes for someone to ring us up but noticed that everyone was going to the self checkout. Assuming that the registers might be closed we went to the self checkout with everyone else. As we started scanning our items, there was a few we didn’t want so we called for help. The associate (heavier build brunette with a spectrum piercing) came over and immediately looked annoyed and had an attitude when we asked her to take off a few items. She then told us that going forward not to come to the self check out if we have so many items. We tried to explain to here that no one is at the registers and she said yes there are and walked away. The rest of the time when we needed help even with our alcohol purchase she did not come over to help or check our ids she just stood talking next to the guard and approved everything from her device. After the way we were treated tonight we will not be coming here again"

"I’ve had several disappointing experiences here. I had one where I was buying plates and using self checkout, and the woman who was running the self checkout told me the plastic around the plates was not for sale. I was super confused, so I just left them there. I’ve also made several trips to browse their bakery for a donut. Sadly, there is never any donuts on their shelf when I’m there. I decided to buy a pre-wrapped cheese danish and it was $5.99. It was the most dry, bland danish I’ve ever eaten. I am still bitter about it because I could have gone to Fresh Flours or Bakery Nouveau and spent the same or less on a fantastic danish."
