Kent Super Buffet

"We were a group of 18 today and found the food delishias, many varieties, in meats, fish, veggies, deserts etc.. We came from Canada and were so glad we chose your Buffet. The prices were midrange and affordable. You deserve a 5 star. M"

"It's not the fanciest place, but the food was absolutely great and the price was very reasonable for the 20 folks of our party. Heard others in the group comment as well on the quality and freshness of the food. Could clean up the water pond in the front foyer - it's a bit messy and off-putting...but that's a small concern in comparison to the great meal!"

"Have you ever had a meal where you couldn't wait till you got home so you could brush your teeth? I should have stopped at the local grocery and purchased a toothbrush and toothpaste because the 15 minutes drive home was pure torture. I stopped for a tooth pick on my way out of the restaurant, but even after that I would have gladly welcomed the dentist chair and a deep tooth cleaning! Bleach was actually sounding pretty good by the time I rolled into the driveway. As soon as the garage door closed I ran upstairs and went to town on a box of dental floss. After that I broke out the sonic toothbrush and went for a full two minute cycle on the teeth. Then for good measure I added another two minute cycle on the tongue. In spite of that my mouth still has a lingering putrid taste. Thankfully I have a carton of cloves from Costco in the cupboard. I need to break out the big guns"

"Kent Super Buffet is pretty good. When I called, the gentleman who answered the phone said it was $23.99. So, my wife and I headed straight from Tacoma to try it out. For two of us, we paid $56.78. When I asked the owner, and said it's 23.99 per person, right? He said, “Yes, plus tax.” It appears that he charged $8.80 in tax. There have to be some additional charges in there. That's okay, but I wish he had itemized the receipt so we know. It's our first time eating here, and the food is fresh, especially the steamed/ boiled head-on shrimp and the crawfish. The lobster claws are good, except they gave us one crab cracker to crack the claws. The lobster claw was so hard it bent the device. The server did not come by to refill our drinks, but there was a lady who came by and picked up our plates. She does not serve the drinks."

"Upon arrival we noticed that the parking lot was littered with trash, needed new pavement, desperate for any type of lawn care, the restaurant sign was broken and so were the windows. This was all before we even entered the building, but we try not to judge a book by its cover. It was pretty pricey for 2 adults and 2 toddlers, nearly $80! The fountain at the entrance was a bit sad and had old balloons floating in it. When we were sat down at our table I immediately noticed that it was dirty with old food (take note that we arrived at opening, so it was dirty from the day before). There was also an ant crawling on the table. The food was ok, just basic buffet food, nothing special. I got the General Tso chicken and it was gray in the middle (see picture). My husband said that nearly half of the items he got from the buffet were bad, and he isn't a picky eater at all! One more thing to watch, make sure you have a clean cup and you're grabbing a clean plate from the stack. My cup was clearly dirty and I had to go through several plates in the stack until I actually found a decent one. Even then I had to scrape off old food before making my plate. We will not be returning here."
