"My first time experiencing the kind, cheerful, and professional staff at Simple Simon was around a year ago. My first haircut here wasn't of the normal kind; I was beginning my transition and coming out as genderfluid/non-binary. When I first made the decision to cut my hair, it was hard to find a place that would accept what I needed and..understand. By chance, I decided to go to Simple Simon. I had walked by it multiple times, but had never gone in. My first steps in were tentative, but met with a very outgoing greeting by none other than Lindsay. She sat me down in her chair, and we talked about what I wanted. She let me cry a little, and even seemed on the verge of emotions too, after hearing my story and hearing what I wanted. She walked with me, every step of the way. Going from long, dark locks to a short, spiky blond 'do that blew me away. After her hair cut, I felt braver, more myself, confident. And every time I have sat in one the chairs at Simple Simon, whether it is Lindsays', Ashleys' or Maddies' (those are the three I have experienced), I am sure I will leave with a confidence boost and a great haircut. They are amazing stylists, incredibly kind people, and a wonderful staff. I would absolutely recommend them."
