"I've been here a couple of times and saw Khamsai both visits. She did a wonderful job on cutting my hair and I'm very happy with the cuts I received. However, at the most recent visit I asked for a color as well. I brought in several photographs to show an idea of what I wanted. We discussed briefly and she brought out a book of color swatches for us to look through. I wanted to go lighter with some complex colors of ashy dark lavender and rose gold almost layered on top to highlight, I'm not sure how exactly to describe it but that's what the photo looked like to me. Somehow we ended on this darker color that looked similar to the roots of the color I wanted, it looked like a dark brown/violet with a little red tone. Well, it ended up turning my hair bright red with starkly contrasted blonde highlights. Not at all what I wanted. I talked with Khamsai about the color and we agreed I'd sleep on it and see if I wanted it fixed. I called the next day to schedule as I really did not like the red color and a week later she saw me. The second visit I asked her to blend the highlights more and then we added an ashy purple color over the red to cool it down. Overall, after the second visit I feel like I can live with this color and I appreciate the time Khamsai put into my hair. A total of 6 hours, most of which I think was foiling that cascade of highlights. She was very sweet and understanding and really wanted to give me the color I wanted and I appreciate that. I'm still just a little bummed that I couldn't achieve the original color I wanted. I would rate Khamsai a 5/5 for her trimming skills and personable attitude."
