"Soooooo where do I begin. We were recommended this place from our local clinic due to my son needing some front teeth pulled due to decay. When we arrived to our initial appointment we noticed how there was a nice play area for the kiddos and we thought how nice the receptionists were. Okay cool. Then when we get to the back for my son examination the dentist told us my son would need his front 4 teeth pulled (which I knew already) and plus EIGHT silver crowns for his back molars. I am shocked. He did this analysis without doing any x rays just by looking. My son's previous dentist said he only needed one crown. How did he go from needing one crown to 8?? Seems shady to me. The receptionsit asked me if i had any concerns..umm yeah why the hell does my son need 8 da*mn crowns?? The day of the procedure the dentist in the middle of having my son under anesthesia tells me he will stop the entire procedure now if i dont agree to having all 8 crowns placed now at once. Also tells me no other denrist will take my son if i decide to go somewhere else. Smh. I felt so pressured in that moment i agreed to have the crowns put in. After my son woke back up from the procedure he was in so much pain and crying and just straight up angry that had to happen to him. He is only 4 years old. The office sent us home with no pain medication and only one piece of gauze. Also, Noone from the office even cared to call and check up on my son after the procedure. I had to call them myself a couple days later to schedule his follow up appointment. I still have regrets about allowing my son to have that much work done at once becuse i feel it was unnecessary. Thank God it was at such a young age he won't be too traumatized by dentists but I will definitely listen to my gut next time and get a second opinion."

"This was the only dental office we've used for my daughter who is now a pre teen. So I’d say at least 11 years, we even travel 30 minutes to come here because the service and experience use to be so good. However the last couple of visits the customer service has gone completely downhill. First off I’ll start with the front desk staff. They use to be so nice and caring but the old staff is gone and the new staff I have nothing good to say. I recently called in to see about changing my scheduled time, after receiving the confirmation text for the upcoming appointment. I got part of what I was trying to say out before getting interrupted and the girl responded by saying “we’re not even confirming appointments for that date yet”. Well then I guess I sent the text to myself and the automated system didn’t just send what I received (im being VERY sarcastic). I waited to finish hearing what she had to say, the proceeded to ask if I could try getting a later time slot. She responded with “no we don’t have any later time slots for that day or the rest of the month”. The tone was totally off. So I quickly said thanks and hung up. Then the day of my daughters appointment I called right when they opened to see if maybe there were some last minute cancellations that may have opened up for later in the day. Same nasty tone and this time the girl actually said “so what’s going on? Are you not going to make it?”. I’m not sure if there was proper phone training done but somebody needs to revisit and retrain because that is not how you should talk to patients/customers. I brought my daughter in and she had to have teeth pulled. I felt so bad as a mother, I couldn’t stand that she had to experience the level of pain that she endured. First of all the numbing and whatever injection that was provided wasn’t helping her! Although I’m sure it cost a arm and a leg! She was yelling because of her level of pain and the doctor just kept tugging at my poor babies tooth. The Dental assistant had to say if you feel too much pain raise your hand and we will pause. Which happened immediately! Then the doctor had to inject more pain medication but I feel like it wasn’t doing what was needed. They asked me if I had question and yes of course I do! Pain management for my daughter because she’s clearly in pain with the meds you’ve given so I’m sure once whatever you injected ware’s off she’s going to be in EVEN MORE PAIN because she’s already having a hard time. Before we even made it half way home (15 minutes after the appointment) my daughter was in a puddle of tears! She was so strong to sit through that. I feel like it was rushed! I know it was lunch time for the office because when we left there weren’t any other patients. So instead of giving my daughter more time to allow the pain meds to work she had to just MAN up through that tooth pulling in pain. Her teeth were very strong rooted so it was a tough pull but if I’m paying for her pain to be managed. I’m not expecting for her to have to deal with that much pain WITH MEDS! I took her home and gave her over the counter pain meds but I can’t help than to think something should have been prescribed to her to help with her after visit pain. We have been getting ortho treatment at a office closer to our house. “Molen” and the level of care and customer service they provide is what the Kids dentist use to be like. Unfortunately we won’t be returning here anymore."

"Love every experience at the Kids’ Dentist in Renton. They’re so positive and encouraging and my daughter wishes her checkups were more than every 6 months. Lol. She has sealants on her teeth and is cavity-free. They’re not pushing orthodontics until she needs it functionally which I appreciate. All the dentists at the practice are kind and informative as are the dental assistants - but we always love when we see Le!"

"The dentists are super friendly. My daughter needed teeth extractions for braces and Dr.Brian was able to calmly walk her through the process and she kept her cool. It went by fast and it was much smoother than I had anticipated. The staff are friendly too."
