This practice is up to date with the latest dental equipment. I've been a patient here for years until I retired. I'd still be going here if they would accept my current retirement dental insurance."

"WORTH reading if you have a fear of dentists!! Eastside Dental with Dr. Kilian and his staff are the absolute BEST! I know that I stand with the majority of people when I say, "I hate going to the dentist". Unfortunately, I have had 2 experiences that caused me to not go to the dentist for years. I have been fortunate in having pretty strong teeth and no major issues. Recently, though, I needed to get my teeth checked for any underlying infection due to an upcoming surgery I'm having. I was not too thrilled but had no choice as my surgeon wanted a release from a dentist stating that I had no signs of infection. This past Friday was the first of 4 intensive procedures that Dr. Kilian strongly suggested. Had Dr. Kilian, at my initial exam, not have been so completely forthright, empathetic, knowledgeable and thorough, I would not have come back but this was a second opinion after having been told that all of my teeth needed to be pulled, truth be told, by Dr. Song at Vancouver Smiles. The difference in exams was night and day. I was so nervous about my first appointment that I only got about an hours sleep. Every time I closed my eyes, I would see this LONG, shiny needle and the intensive pain I once suffered as a child, started sending me into a panic. That morning, KIM, the Oral Hygienist, greeted me and immediately started explaining everything that she would be doing. She made sure that I was comfortable and that I knew I could stop her anytime that I felt I needed to. Kim has such a calming presence that I felt relaxed from the start. Throughout the 2 hour period, she continued to check on me and to also, let me know step by step what she was going to do next. I have NEVER in my 62 years of going to medical appointments felt as safe as I did with Kim and my fear now is at a manageable level. Thanks to Kim, I will now be taking better care of my teeth and my smile is genuine. 06/09/22 I am completely through with my procedures and was able to get what was to be 5 appointments down to 3!!! I can't say enough about the WHOLE STAFF at Dr. Kilian's and the dentist himself was the BEST DENTIST EVER! I suffered very little pain and was told every step of the way what to expect. I have ABSOLUTELY NO FEAR of going to the dentist again. A side note: Dr. Kilian does not take my insurance and so this is all out-of-pocket and I am going to continue to go to him because HE IS WORTH IT!"
