She felt at ease and was super comfortable with all of the staff from the front desk to the dental assistant and dentist. "I’ve decided to share our experience here to bring awareness to other parents and as a reminder to always trust your gut. A few years ago I was bringing my son to this dental office for about a year or so. On his last appt, they said I could not come in the room during his routine exam, I thought this was odd but figured because it was during covid that it kind of made sense, so I waited in the front. When they brought my son out, they said there was a cavity or what looked to be the beginning of one and it would require a surgery (anesthesia) to fill. I asked if they could do the procedure without anesthesia or at least a local and not a general because I wasn’t comfortable with that and she said no it required anesthesia and pushed me to schedule his follow up appointment. I thought the whole experience was odd because 1. My son had never had a cavity up until this point and goes to the dentist on a regular basis (every 6 months) and 2. I have had fillings done myself and they never required anesthesia, at least not a general anesthesia. The whole situation rubbed me the wrong way so I opted for a second opinion at, not one other pediatric dentist but TWO. We went to both dentists in Vancouver and, without telling them what happened, they did an exam and said everything looked great/normal. I decided to tell them of our experience at Must love kids and they were extremely surprised, not only did they say that my son did not have cavities let alone anything that required anesthesia or surgery they suggested I do not go back as this seemed to be some sort of insurance scam. Needless to say, I never brought my son back there and I’m quite frightened by the whole experience, these are professionals that we should be able to trust to make the right decisions for our children especially with surgeries that require anesthesia, those are not something to take lightly but I feel they look at it as a first resort. I’m also disappointed because up until that point our experience had been great with must love kids. Make your own decisions as a parent but make sure they’re informed!"

"Must love kids was great, wait time was very minimal. My daughter has autism and I was very nervous about how the appointment would go but everyone made her feel comfortable and there were no issues. The office is very clean and every room has a Disney theme, they also have tvs on the ceilings to help entertain the kids while laying in the chair. I had a great experience"
