"I was seen at Fisher Jones Family Dentistry for a routine cleaning today. While I was there I had quite a few questions about overall dental health. Joey is who helped me and she was so knowledgeable and explained things in way I could understand. She reassured me when I had concerns and had a very calming presence throughout my entire appointment. Usually I am quite nervous during dental appointments, but I’m always at ease with this office. The front office staff are phenomenal as well. Great team all around. I’ll be recommending Fisher Jones to anyone looking for a great dental provider!"

"I’m currently a patient here because I can’t seem to find a good dentist anymore. When I first came here I was excited that I finally was going to get work done on my teeth. Before work was done I was very clear that all costs were communicated properly since I was mostly paying out of pocket. Not only that, but I was very clear, very very clear on my expectations, wants, needs etc due to several poor experiences I’ve had. I basically have a very complex case and it seems like I keep getting people who don’t want to do their job. So, Fisher Jones created a plan. I agreed to it. I was clear what I wanted addressed first all that. I was told to pay $3k upfront, in which I did. I then went in and got the first phase of work done. During my appointment, I reverified the work that supposed to be done. She agreed. I had to wait awhile until the next phase because of my financial situation. I called 8 months later to schedule an appointment and was told that the work that we agreed on during my last visit, wasn’t actually even done, or even close to it. So I paid for services out of pocket that weren’t agreed on. When I explained this to billing, there reasoning was that my insurance didn’t cover what we originally thought. This doesn’t make sense to me since even if that was the case, why wasn’t it communicated to me. It’s like going to Walmart buying a product, opening the box and getting something else. I should’ve recieved a full refund at that point but didn’t. I was so upset I hadn’t gone back and because I lost my insurance and job, I was struggling to find a way to pay. I called back in November after I finally got a job again with insurance to set an appointment for a wisdom tooth removal and to reevaluate my care plan given that it had been over year or two since I had been back. Keep in my mind it also took 2 months to get in the appointment even though I was having a dental emergency. I went in, they reevaluated my teeth, and said they wouldn’t do work until I got a second opinion from my gum specialist. They didn’t address the wisdom tooth and I ultimately had to call a different dentist to get it removed. Hopefully, things improve. I just saw another place I’m considering switching too, but if you knew how many times I’ve switched dentists in the last 4 years, you’d understand why I’m not feeling up to it. I called this place again for another dental emergency, second molar is cracked. Luckily they have availability tomorrow so we will see how it goes. If this goes unwell, I’m going to try affordable family dental in Tumwater. My teeth continue to decline because I can’t seem to find a good dentist that 1. Cares about its patients 2. financially flexible 3. Offers sedation 4. Advanced dental care for all services 5. Time savy I’ll update after my visit tomorrow"

"They overbill you. Wont refund it, only credit to your account. Told me in-office my procedure would cost 900-1000. Billing told me it would be 1578! When I asked for a bill in an email I was told quote; "We need you to pay 563 or we will cancel your appointment." I fought with my own insurance for the procedure I needed just for them to forcibly cancel after I was confused why the overcharge. "We do it to make sure there are no insurance issues." I went and got pre-approval from my insurance company for the procedure........... Terrible front-desk, even if polite. Wont send itemized bill while canceling your appointment after waiting 4 weeks on insurance bueauracracy. If I could rate 0 stars, I would. Terrible service. -=Reply to the 'owner'=- (Its actually the same front desk, lol. Talk about hiding behind another name x'D) You guys knew full well I was STILL working with my insurance. They called me today to keep me posted btw. Might still get a call from them xD (I wont be rescheduling.) My issue here is that I wouldve agreed/rejected on the call with you guys but you told me and I quote; "Pay us 500 or we forcibly cancel your appointment." Yall KNEW I had been talking with my insurance. You chose profit over customer care. This is EXACTLY why we shouldve sent the pre-authorization like I wanted to in the first place instead of shoving your method down me throat and we end up like this- go figure. Shoulda listened to your patient in the first place and none of this woulda happened and that in and of itself is why I complain. Yall didnt listen to me till it was too late and the insurance debacale messed everything up. I couldnt accept first 2 times cuz insurance and YALL asked to move it, not I. Then, you guys blamed your patient for not doing it the way I wanted to in the first place..... Well.... Listen next time. If you gota cancel cuz insurance is being wonky, thats one thing and I bear no ill will over that. Im mad cuz yall demanded I pay 500 without being able to view the bill. Outright refused to do it. Ill take my business (And hopefully others) elsewhere. Still wont accept responsibility for what yall did so, thanks for that proof. :D Front desk more willing to fight with patients than the insurance companies. And ya know, in hindsight, ill have to agree with your reply in part; Nobody at the office except you was unprofessional and non-courtious. You, who I can only call "The lady yelling in the background at Addie" was the only person there I met that was angry, offensive and unprofessional. Thinly veiled threats. Ultimatums to pay or have my appointment canceled before I can even view the bill. I saw the bill today. Email finally got here. Id have accepted and paid if youd let me view it. You just kept throwing your weight around instead of trying to help like everyone else, every step of the way and I can see why you took this review so personally- because you were the cause of it. I genuinely hope the doctor sees this thread and finds himself a leader who actually fits in with the rest of the nice folk there instead of just a faker. :)"

"They simply are the best. I have a disgusting mouth and lots of embarrassment and shame with it. Never once have I felt judged or looked down upon. Quite the contrary actually, they make me feel comfortable and like I matter."

"I cannot say enough amazing things about every single person in this office! As someone who has a big fear of the dentist I feel extremely taken care of and beyond in their hands. I see Dr Lasley and he is more than kind and caring to my situation! He has gone so far above and beyond what I would ever expect from a dentist! The assistants there are so personable, helpful and caring! Even the front office and billing ladies are amazing! I will never go to any other dentist! I cannot recommend Fisher and Jones enough for any and all dental needs. I can honestly say it has been life changing for me! They not only care about your dental health but seriously care about people!"
