"Off the charts service and care. I am a former US Marine receiving dental care under the VA. Returning to my home in Newport, OR, from a tooth extraction in Washington, State, the nearest available oral surgeon the VA could find, I was suffering severe pain when I passed the dental office in Astoria. I walked in and explained my pain and that I'd just had an extraction and had four hours' drive home. Dr. Leinassarde's staff contacted the oral surgeon and then Dr. Leinassarde gave me enough local anesthetic to make the drive home pain free. His staff also gave me ice packs and Tylenol. He did not charge me for any of this. I can't express my gratitude. This was an act of humanity and clearly showed a man of integrity and compassion. Thank you to everyone in the office."
