"I've frequented this establishment on several occasions, usually finding the food to be reliably good, however, on the pricey side for the overall quality. Unfortunately, my recent visit left me with a less-than-stellar impression, and at this price point, inconsistency is harder to overlook. While Salt&Iron may still be worth a try for locals, it does not stand out as a place to visit if you are a tourist. Now, let's delve into the specifics of the dishes: Garlic Fries - $12: The garlic fries were perfect. Delightfully thin and crispy, they had great flavor complemented by a surprisingly good fried garlic garnish. Bone Marrow - $18: This appetizer is a bit challenging to describe but certainly worth experiencing. Given its price, a more generous serving of bread would have been appreciated. Nevertheless, the combination of toppings blended seamlessly, creating a unique and delicious culinary experience. Stuffed Berkshire Porkchop - $45: With a price tag of $45, I anticipated the pinnacle of pork chop perfection. Unfortunately, the stuffing couldn't rescue the dryness resulting from overcooking. In fact, it was so disappointing that we had to send it back. Scallops - $42: While the scallops themselves were flavorful, the salad accompanying them suffered from an excessive and overpowering dressing. The overall dish was a bit too intense. A lighter salad would have complemented the scallops better, especially considering the high price and small portion. Seafood Pot (Small) - $30: The seafood pot presented a visually appealing dish. While it didn't reach the heights of amazement, it also didn't fall into the realm of terribleness. Nevertheless, it didn't quite meet the standards implied by its price. Prawn and Squash Risotto - $38: Disappointment struck again with the Prawn and Squash Risotto. Priced significantly for a small portion, the dish was marred by a simple yet crucial error—excessive salt. The overpowering saltiness rendered the otherwise promising dish nearly unbearable."

"Really like this place, and I'd go back. Loved my biscuits and gravy with the spicy corn gravy. Better than any B&G I can get back home. Great place to meet up with friends. One of group had the avocado tomato eggs benny and it looked amazing. Wanted a bite of that too. Next time!"
