"We were in the area to see a comedy show at Second City/Chicago Pizza. Had pizza the night before with friends so we took a chance on El Charrito and are we glad we did! I had the Enchilada a La Crema and it was the best, my wife had the Seafood Chimichanga and she loved it! Highly recommend for great authentic Mexican food!"

"To be honest, this is my wife and I favorite place to go because it’s close to home, the food is always made fresh, and the service is always the best. We shared the pork carnitas with corn tortillas. She always gets her typical margarita on the rocks. It’s always so good coming here to eat. ESP with family or friends. The corn tortillas are amazingly tasty and fresh. I like them better than the flower tortilla. The salsa and lettuce with guacamole are a perfect combo for the carnita. The bean and rice now come in a chip style bowl sorta speak. You’ll have to see my photos, they use to just put in on your plate and it would mix with your food. This new style is way cleaner and you can pretty much eat the chip bowl when you want. Our son had chicken nuggets with fries. They are good although not as flavorful as McDonald’s of course. But these are pretty crispy and tasty if I do say so myself. He enjoyed his dinner and the fries are just as good."
