"I love the displays to get little tools and stuff for the farm. The manager is very useful and helpful. They also do agriculture tax exempt on select items which can be used for the farm. This does a lot of coupons in the email and texting. The extended warranty is the best because he can take anything back and if you have an extended warranty, they don’t give you any trouble or fussiness."

"Harbor Freight in Yelm WA. This HF is ok. They have a pretty good selection of stuff. Definitely not the biggest building, but they cram allot inside the 4 walls. Clean establishment and the employees are pretty keen on asking if you found everything you're looking for. My one big present gripe about this place is that I went in one evening; I needed to replace my Pitburgh ratchette I'd lost for work. I wanted to buy TWO more; they had then. Prior that evening, I had seen online that they had then in stock so it'd be a quick-in-/out-done. I swear I'd seen someplace online that these particular ratchettes were $11.99 for the PRO line. Great! I quickly went in, grabbed them, and was charged $17.99/each. O.k, I will triple check my sightings later when not so busy with errands. Later, I got on Facebook and scrolled down, and I saw EXACTLY what I thought I'd seen earlier that day. The exact Pro ratchettes for $11.99/ each instead of the $17.99 each I was smacked with. ANNOYING!!!. so that means the very next day I need to drive BACK to Harbor freight and give them my receipt and show them the sale add from the Internet. I did just that and the employee happily and easily refunded the differance and gave me back like some $12 and change counting extra tax. To which they gave me cash; could've just refunded to my debit card, but ok. My beef with this is that this business is NOT set to AUTOMATICALLY set there registers to charge customers the lowest or sale price_ it's obviously the CUSTOMERS ULTIMATE RESPONSIBILITY to get the merchandise at that stores hidden low price. Do your homework thourolly BEFORE walking into Harbor freight. Check out other known stores too because they might not be the cheapest for the exact thing you are looking for."

"Good place to get one time use items, if you buy high end items, the warranty is cost preventative. This is funding the Chinese not helping the American economy other than sales taxes and minimum wage employees"

"They fought me on a store return that they claimed was "Used" even though when I bought it the tool was already greasy and beat up like QC missed it at the factory. With the hundreds/thousands I've spent with harbor freight you think they'd be okay with giving me a refund on a set of $35 calipers but I feel like they didn't care and assumed I must have damaged them. They gave me my refund but the attitude was absurd, I'll shop on Amazon from now on."

"Bought a 3kw generator (was sold on they said rated better than Honda). Ended up being a lemon. Smoked everywhere, spewed oil all over my new truck. They still charged me a restocking fee even though it was junk (they offered to exchange, but I already purchased a more reliable Yamaha to replace it). Bad policy to charge $148 restocking fee."
