"Very friendly service, reasonable wait time. The ingredients are fresh tasting and well placed on the pizza. Herbs are well noticeable in the red sauce, which was applied in moderation ( not over sauced). While the crust was slightly more oily than I care for, it was well cooked and the thickness I prefer. Good overall two ingredient pizza."
"Stick to the classic pizzas and wings at Rock Island - a great old school pizzeria on Vashon. We loved the sausage pizza that we had over a year ago. The fancy Thai (chicken and shrimp) pizza was less exciting. Good outdoor seating, if a bit disorganized. Service is a bit slow, but the pepporoni and sausage pizzas are worth the wait."
