"My family has been bringing home KC Teriyaki for years and when I suggested a place to eat, my Mom and sister told me that this is where they got the delicious food (we all love the Teriyaki Chicken and their soup and the dressing on the salad is amazing). As this was my first time, I was surprised at how big their menu was. Because it was cold and we haven’t been out anywhere since the snow came, besides the teriyaki chicken and soup, we added gyozas, Mongolian Beef, and also got some tempura shrimp. All of it was steamy warm, fresh and delicious. The staff was awesome and checked back to see if we were good (absolutely!) and if we needed anything. The restaurant is very clean, and from now on, I will actually go instead of waiting for my family to bring back the food- there is so much on the menu that I have yet to try."

"We had a disappointing experience at KC Teriyaki, and I feel compelled to share my negative encounter. My husband went to the establishment to pick up dinner for 5 people and we were hoping for a pleasant meal. Unfortunately, the older Asian gentleman who appears to be the cook had a completely unnecessary outburst that left us both shocked. As my husband was carefully perusing the menu, trying to decide on our order, the older gentleman unreasonably began yelling at him, insisting that he either place an order or leave. It was in the middle of the day like 3pm. This unwarranted aggression was not only unprofessional but completely uncalled for. Customers should be able to take their time deciding without fear of being berated. Despite this rude treatment, my husband decided to proceed with an order, purchasing a substantial amount of food totaling $57. However, when it came time to tip, he chose not to do so. Frankly, the staff at KC Teriyaki did not earn a tip at all, given the atrocious manner in which they treated my husband. Respect and courtesy are fundamental in the service industry, and sadly, KC Teriyaki failed miserably in this regard. Due to this unpleasant experience, we have decided that we will not be returning to KC Teriyaki. No amount of food can compensate for the disrespectful behavior we encountered. We believe in supporting businesses that value their customers and treat them with dignity. Regrettably, KC Teriyaki fell far short of meeting these basic standards. Save yourself the frustration and look for a more customer-friendly establishment."

"First time ordering food from KC Teriyaki, and I wasn't disappointed. Ordered the combination Chicken Teriyaki & Orange Chicken (asked for no salad, so they gave me more rice). Also ordered the Gyoza. My food was hot & fresh, and I didn't have to wait long for it. Definitely have enough to last me another meal too. I look forward to trying other items on the menu."

"One of the few restaurants that stayed open in Vancouver during the height of the Pacific Northwest's unexpected heatwave, and I admire them for doing so. Super hungry after work, I was driving around looking for somewhere good to eat, and came across this restaurant. I had tried them once before and they left a pretty good impression on me with their beef teriyaki, which was a hearty serving. Today I ordered the spicy beef, which had a strongly-favored Asian sauce on it and vegetables which complimented the flavor. While it was very good, it doesn't stand out to me compared to a lot of Japanese restaurants, but it was still tasty. The interior of the restaurant is pretty clean. The service I received was pretty friendly and the employees are eager to (and seem to prefer to) bring you the food to your car after you order for takeout. If you don't call in your order beforehand, it does take a while."
