"Literally everything here is fast fashion that they sell for higher than retail. 2nd hand textiles are not scarce. They are filling our landfills, sent all over the world and destroying local clothing businesses, as well as filling their landfills, but this corporation that masquerades as a non profit charged you $20 for a SHEIN dress so that the CEOand all its executives can live in luxury while regular folks struggle to clothe ourselves while paying for rent and food in this economy. This goodwill in particular thinks that we’re all absolute idiots willing to pay top dollar for bottom level quality. Goodwill doesn’t do anything good for my community. It just tobs poor folks blind. This store should be ashamed of itself."
"Goodwill has ridiculous rules about what they will and won't take. Had some shelving that was painted and they wouldn't take it because they were painted. Something else had some small Knicks in it but would be easily painted over or something to make it look nice after someone bought it but again nope they won't take it. This is supposed to be a second hand store where people buy things for cheap not because everything is supposed to be brand new. The workers are just about as clueless about what they can and cannot take. If there was a sign that would be one thing but when someone pulls up with a truck full of things it gets a little ridiculous getting the white glove treatment over every little thing. Never had a thrift store be this picky before."
"Fun as always. This time I bought 3 Coleman 64 qt coolers, new with labels, for $4.50 each based on my Good Guy Discount. The labels on them were for $24.95 for 2vof them and $29.99 for the third one. AWESOME DEALS !!!!!!!"
"I always enjoy going to goodwill. You never know what you will find... I am a collector of many things and always find something I can add to all the other stuff. Pricing is getting a little crazy though.. not sure if you can really describe it as a thrift store anymore nowadays.."
"Poor customer service, I called before to ask if they take used couches to which they said in good condition. So we loaded up the suede couch and it just started to rain, upon arrival the girl at drop off said it was worn down with stains so she could not take it. First off it had no stains it was wet from the rain Second it was worn only a little wear your legs rub. I called and spoke to the manager, I said do you take used furniture, she said yes in good condition and of course we take new furniture! When did Goodwill start becoming so nick picky and greedy? They are all about the mighty $ bill. I grew up visiting one of the very first Goodwill ,when they were a hole in the wall. They have taken out Salvation Army and other small thrift stores. What do they do for the community? i know of one school in Anderson In for the handicap. The handicap jobs are far in between and they piece meal work their employees. Meaning they might make $25.00 for a 32 hr work week. They need to change their name to Greedywill because they are not doing Goodwill! P.S. The picture attached looks stained but I had just cleaned it and it is damp."
