"I came in recently for a small part. As I was checking out a couple of the workers including the woman running check out were filling another customer's curbside pickup order. The woman running checkout caught my eye and said, "Who invented curbside pickup anyway? FAT PEOPLE?!?" Then she laughed loudly. I told her that was very rude, inappropriate, and fat-phobic. She said she was just kidding. I reminded her that people need curbside pickup for all kinds of reasons, often health related. She said, you're right. She never apologized for her horrible statement. I'm overweight so this cruel "joke" seemed aimed at me. I am very disappointed because I enjoyed supporting this local business, but I don't feel comfortable coming back."
"Have lived a couple blocks from this place for almost five years. Honestly, I have never been disappointed when I go there looking for whatever random thing we need. They even had car oil. That one surprised and saved me. The one star loss is only for the customer service. It's not when you ask for specific things because they're always very helpful. It's just the counter service. They just always seem super disinterested. Might just be an Olympia thing. Lived here most of my life and Olympia folks are a little slower paced. We will still keep coming back."
