"Excellent! I had a monstrous sandwich on fresh baked bread, they did not skimp on pastrami, cheese or greens. My wife got this absurdly delicious pastry pocket thing with potatoes, onions, cheese and some other aromatics. Best of all, if you have a sweet tooth like me, the raspberry pastry thing was incredible. Light fluffy dough, fresh raspberries and some kind of perfect combination cheese? My only regret is not going back to buy the rest of them. 1000% will come back"

"Absolutely delicious home cooking! Got the meatloaf and twice baked potato (amazing) and bean & ham soup (best I've ever had). Will definitely return and recommend to others! Also, we showed up on accident 30 minutes before opening and I'm glad we did because there was a rush at opening time. Clearly a favorite of many."

"Came here and discovered a secret gem!! Got a tamale pie which was delicious! Came with salsa and was a big portion! Also got some delicious bread and some custard tarts that were absolutely yummy. The lady who helped us was very nice and told us some cool stuff about the island."

"I wish I had taken photos of the amazing food we had at Katrina's Secret Kitchen, but the smell was so good that we couldn't resist digging in. We ordered onion soup, beef stakes, filet mignon, and dessert for dinner, and every dish was absolutely delicious. My parents, who had been looking for a good steak all week during our trip to Washington, were especially happy with their meals. The staff member who took our order made a minor mistake, but she apologized profusely and offered us extra dessert as a way to make it up to us. We accepted, and the Enormous Meringues with lightly sweetened Mascarpone, fresh berries, and whipped cream were one of the best desserts I've ever had. I'm conflicted about leaving a review for Katrina's Secret Kitchen. On the one hand, I want to keep this place a secret gem so that I can always get a table. On the other hand, I want to support this hard-working business and help them flourish. If you're looking for an amazing dining experience in Friday Harbor, I highly recommend Katrina's Secret Kitchen. P.S. "Wow! I sure am happy the restaurant I was recommended to go to was closed because I stumbled upon Katrina’s on Google and sure am happy! Not only was Katrina so kind but an amazing cook. I told her to surprise me with dinner, and boy did she deliver! The shrimp and grits with a petite steak and asparagus salad she cooked up for me was DELICIOUS! Her kitchen is off the beaten path, but don’t hesitate to grab dinner from and support this a solo woman-owned and run business. You will not regret it!"
