"Been taking my steers to Mike for years! I'm ALWAYS very pleased with his work. I'm not sure what the deal is with the two people who gave bad reviews, but that has never been my experience. ( Maybe because I take nice cattle to him for processing...you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, and Mike can't make great beef out of a poor quality animal either.) Northwoods locker is a clean, well run shop, family owned and operated, with reasonable prices and good turnaround times. They are a SMALL processor, so I know that my cattle are properly and humanely handled, and that care is take every step of the way from start to finish to deliver the best possible product. I wouldn't go anywhere else."
"Got half a beef done there again. Very good, as usual! Mike's a great guy and does quality work."
"Hands down the most horrible place we have ever had a beef done. The hamburger has so many bones it’s pretty much inedible!!! Huge waste of money! I will not go there again. Pretty disappointing when you have a half of beef processed and have a lot of hamburger your family won’t eat."
