"Condescending, rude, consistently screws up the grooming and needs constant reminders. Edit 2 years later: I just saw it now and her response to this kind of annoyed me. She would say one thing and then do another, to expound upon my initial review. I would fall asleep in my car as I often couldn't leave as I drove from Luck and it didn't make much sense. We wanted to keep supporting her as she did great with my mom's Pekingese. Naturally, she runs a business, so she would be busy with the dogs for hours. I would sometimes oversleep and they would be sitting there ready to go for up to an hour, hour and a half. She said this was fine and she didn't mind and that she understood my situation. However, when my mom talked to Heidi near the end of our patronage she would go on to then complain about it to her at length. I had to hear this secondhand after being told it wasn't a problem to my face multiple times. I found that incredibly annoying. Other than being late, admittedly too often, she never gave me any indication that she had some serious problems with my mom and me as customers. I think her response to this post is a good example of this. She only called my mom despite the Chows being my dogs and the Pekingese being my mom's. She had my cell phone number. It was a little bizarre. The *biggest* thing though, my dog Kunoichi looked absolutely horrendous after going to see Heidi a few times. I may re-edit this again when going through my reviews another time and add the pictures of how Kunoichi looked after her visits to Heidi vs. a year or two later. She didn't even look like a Chow Chow w/ the coat deformity and Kuno's fur didn't get back to how a Chow's should look for well over a year. I wasn't sure exactly how she was supposed to look at the time or if it was just a normal thing but after awhile Kunoichi's fur eventually got back to normal after going to other groomers. I wasn't sure if it would ever restore itself. Heidi had cut her hair way, way too short. This is a problem with groomers sometimes with Chow Chows, it's fairly well documented. So, while I won't blame her entirely as Chows can certainly be obstinate on top of their extensive fur, it still had a long lasting effect on my dog's coat. I am updating this and giving it a 2/5 instead of a 1/5. She did well with Wendell the Pekingese and he was always happy when he came home. Heidi also seemed like a nice enough person other than the communication issue."
