"We had a very unfortunate experience with Laura. We were seeking a house cleaning service to clean the home of our 90+ year old parents, who were selling it due to a necessary move to an assisted living facility. A friend referred us to Laura. She came by the house, and provided a written quote of $550 for cleaning the home and a shampoo (of the carpets). The cleaning was needed to have the home ready for both online and in person showings by the realtor later that week. We were not able to have someone there when she came to clean the home, as our parents are not mobile or able to drive and we live out of state. She advised (in writing) that all cupboards and closets were wiped out, all bathrooms as well as the downstairs was cleaned, and the home was vacuumed and dusted. We trusted her word that the home was properly cleaned, and paid her for the work, as well as a $50 gratuity. The bottom line………….the next time someone was in the home (shortly after Laura “completed” the work) it was discovered that the job was not done in even a remotely acceptable manner. We had to scramble to find other people to get the job completed correctly, incurring a significant amount of time and additional expenses. We contacted Laura about this, presented her with what was discovered, including details about what wasn’t done and photos we sent her that documented the significant shortcomings of her work. Despite the evidence we presented her with, she aggressively denied it and attempted to bully us. When it became obvious that the communications were not going anywhere, we asked for a refund. Subsequent attempts to communicate with her in writing and via telephone and text were not answered, including a compromise offer to have her refund us just half of the $600 she was paid. This is completely unacceptable, out of line, and terrible customer service. Our elderly parents are the customers, she took advantage of them, and has refused to make it right. Really, Laura? We don’t want anyone else to have this unfortunate experience. Our advice? DO NOT hire Squeaky Squeaky Cleaning Services."

She is flexible and experienced, knows what a clean house looks like and how long it will take her to get there."
