"Overall an okay experience. I ordered roses for a wedding cake and the person on the phone was not very friendly. When i got the roses they didn’t look terribly fresh as the edges were a bit brown. Definitely not worth $6/stem. I had to remove a few outside petals on each rose. Overall, the cake and flowers looked nice in the end."

"I purchased a bouquet that was initially quite beautiful for mother's day however by day 2 much less day 3 the flowers were drooping, browning, and getting soft. We are no strangers to bouquets, and I grew up tending to about a half a dozen rose bushes, so I am no stranger to keeping flowers alive and fresh. While they did rectify the issue with me in the form of a refund (there was an offer to replace the bad flowers but I declined as the entire bouquet was on the way out, anything that wasn't replaced would have been gone the in the next day and I would have had a half fresh half dying display), I am disappointed that the bouquet when down hill so fast when I have purchased flower from other retailers that would last a week or more with very little up keep. However the actual arrangement of the flowers was quite nice."

"Stacey began communication regarding my mom's funeral spray with an informational phone conversation. Next, Doris met with us at the Elm Grove location to conceptualize designs and colors. Even though the color of coral rose desired was difficult to obtain, they magically exhausted all efforts to get the exact shade and beautifully created the most stunning 60 rose arrangement. After the service, they kindly returned the spray to their refrigeration room at the Elm Grove location to store it until we were able to pick it up the next day. When we arrived the next morning, floral associate Nicki kindly greeted us and brought us into the back room to help pull the arrangement apart and expertly crafted two beautiful table vase arrangements out of the remaining flowers, fillers & greens. (Attached pics are before we started removing the roses the day after the service.) Our family couldn't be happier with Welke's House of Roses and highly recommend them to anyone seeking floral services."
