"This is my first and last time using JH. The service was absolutely horrible from start to finish. Very unprofessional and under qualified tax prepares at each site. It started off with my appointments being cancelled twice at the last minute. Things happen so I understood that. I went to another site the preparer look at my taxes and say oh no what have I gotten myself in to. The other lady that came to help was telling her it don’t matter if she put my information in for my mortgage and taxes. Red flag there so I collected my items and still was willing to give JH a try. I went to a another site and the girl that was going to do my taxes look like she was still in high school. When she asked me questions she spoke so low I could not here her. She kept shuffling through my papers, look at the computer screen, shuffle the papers some more and finally called over another person. This lady stared at the screen, then my mortgage paper, squinted her eyes, kept going back and forth. I finally said you know what It does not seem as though either of you are sure what you are doing. Give me my stuff and I will leave. The lady that was called over said oh I know what I’m doing I own homes, I will do your taxes as soon as I’m done helping someone online. I decided to wait for her. She didn’t ask any questions, she kept shuffling through the papers and staring or scrolling through the computer screen. By this time I was uneasy about my taxes being prepared and was going to ask for them back. Before I could say anything she handed me a sticky note that had my return on it of what I was getting back. Since they were finished there was not much I could do. She printed my paperwork and it is filled with black streaks from printer, she didn’t staple anything. She just gave me the paperwork. I felt uneasy all night so Saturday I took them back to the site I originally was supposed to have an appointment with, but they cancelled on me. I explained the situation and asked for a seasoned preparer to look over my taxes to make sure they were done correctly. I was assured someone would and left my paperwork at that site. Needless to say no one ever looked at them, I could never speak with a manager and it took over a week for someone to find out where my paperwork was. They were in a drawer where the girl who assured me someone will look at them sat. There were more issues within this entire scenario, but you get the just of the horrific experience I had. I will never recommend JH to anyone nor will I ever return ever again. Every time I hear the radio ad I just want to call in and say this is the most unprofessional tax prepare service and if you want to avoid stress, frustration, and anger stay away. What the ad says is opposite of my experience. My taxes may be correct, but the way that preparer was acting I’m not sure and I will have this sickening feeling for a long time. There’s no need to reach out to anyone else anymore, I will just keep getting the run around and it’s not worth the stress. The only thing they seem to do without hesitation is charge me to prepare my taxes.even then I handed the preparer a voided check for direct deposit, she said oh we don’t take cash here, we don’t handle any money. I said this is nit cash it’s a check for my direct deposit information. She said oh yeah he he he. I just shook my head because that really topped it off. She proceeded to tell me Wisconsin do whatever they want to do they may or may not direct deposit it, don’t be surprised if I get a check in the mail. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE Jackson Hewitt"

"I was in a limbo with these other tax places and their hidden fees. I stopped in to Jackson Hewitt on 76th and Goodhope Rd and my tax preparer Alexis was so professional. She took her time with my situation and gave it her all and made sure she scrapped for every dollar lol. I must say I am very pleased with her service and I will be back next year. Thank you so much for your patience Alexis I really appreciate it."
