"I hadn't been to Blackbeards in ages up until this last weekend. It honestly felt like stepping into a time machine. Not a whole heck of a lot has changed since I used to go there as a kid with family and friends. It is nearly identical in every single way, except the games have been switched out, and the machines are card operated. We had a good time, played games, won some prizes, kids drove the go karts, and played on the equipment. Really fun time for under $100."

"I'm REALLY disappointed to see all these negative reviews. Is it Disneyland? Of course not. But life is what you make it! Tonight was my second time at Blackbeard's. My boyfriend and his friends have an on-going mini golf trophy they play for at various places, and we had such a great time. Prices were super fair, we went around 9pm on a Saturday after a bomb dinner at Takumi in Fresno. It wasn't packed, we played the pirate course with about 10 people and still had time for a round of Go-Karts after. I do wish the karts were a tad bit faster, but still fun to race your friends. I see lots of complaints about the food at Blackbeard's and I'm not sure what these Karen's are expecting out of a $10 chicken and fries basket. The rides and grounds could definitely use some updating and I think a minor revamp would bring so many people back to this place. I really hope the owners invest in it and keep it going, because I'd definitely like to keep coming back. It was kinda wild that no one was at the entrance gates to make sure we weren't complete hethens, but none of the staff we encountered were rude by any means and none of the patrons were out of hand. I also saw complaints in the reviews about the smoking areas, I personally, loved that. I don't smoke cigarettes, but we didn't have to wait for our smoker of the group to go outside and smoke and hold up our game which was awesome. My first time here, the Fahrney's rented the whole place out for an employee appreciation day and we had an absolute blast then too. I'd love to see the water slides open and new bumper boats with cleaner water next summer, but still a great time with friends, family, and coworkers. We'll be returning again I'm sure, I'd take this place over Adventure Park any day! We came from Visalia and Woodlake to visit, well worth the drive for a hangout night."

"I think blackboard's is very underrated. It's a fun place to take younger kids to this entertainment park. Yes it may be a little outdated. But I'm sure if more people would come more often. Then maybe the owners would invest more money into it. Attest that's what I would wish would happen. For myself It brings back nostalgic memories. I remember a time not so long ago. coming with my partners to have fun and enjoy the time I had with them. Unfortunately I don't have my parents with me anymore, But Attest I am able to make these memories with my own Lil family."

"Been going here since I was a kid. For about 30 years. Place is a bit outdated, and overpriced. To do one session of race cars it’s $11 dollars a race. Food is not up to par. Ordered chicken and fries basket. Waited “15-20” minuets, was very disappointed. A lot of the rides were broken or inoperable. Staff is very friendly though."

"Went there on a Saturday. Bought the wristband special so I was there from 1 to 4. I started with the mini golf, which was a bit challenging at the end but it was really fun. After that I went to the arcade room, and the games were obviously rigged. Went to their mini food court and I bought the mini doughnuts. It only came with 4 or 5 doughnuts and it was $5.00! It’s a scam. Most of the employees were just on their phones, and didn’t care when there were 10 people in line! Slow service. Go karts were fun but they should be faster. Overall below average. Debating whether I should come back or not."
