"Beautiful views hiking the shoreline trail in the China Camp area in san Rafael. There is a use fee of trail. You can pay on the trail by the Ranger station. It appears to be less expensive to park in provided parking lots for 2 to 4 people in one car. As the parking fee includes the use of the trails for up to 4 people. Trail can be picked up in several locations including the ranger station. No dogs allowed on trail. Beaware there are mountain bikes on the trail. I will come back. Hope you enjoy your visit."

"It is amazing, I would rate this behind the grizzly trail. I was very surprised by the view of the water and how low the tide was. But it just kept going and going. I was able to get up and close to a boat, but unfortunately some areas were closed. We timed it just right from what others were saying. It was practically empty. We had the park to ourselves. It was very difficult to keep going because there was a reason to stop around every corner, driving is fun. But if you look away to your phone for a sec, you miss out on something."
