"CAUTION: Do NOT pay for a breeding to any of her stallions!!! Proper paperwork won’t be sent in for you to get your foals papers!!! This is long so bear with me. In 2021 we took down two mares, one was NEVER covered bc she wouldn’t allow the stallion to mount & the facility was unwilling to get the mare (known to be a bit flighty and reactive) into stocks to AI her. The 2nd mare took with twins! This facilities vet was paid to pinch a twin, unsuccessful procedure, so it resulted in our vet having to terminate the whole pregnancy. Neither mare came back to us in the condition they left home in though that is a whole other topic. In 2022 my MIL decided to breed a 3rd mare (forgoing the 2nd stud fee at all) via AI with our vet, picked up the cooled semen & took it to the vet herself. This mare took on the first shot! Woohoo! We are having a foal! May 2023 this mare delivers a healthy gorgeous silver buckskin filly and we are over the moon! Within 30-60 days my MIL sends in the AQHA paperwork to register this foal only to be told “our mare is not on the breeding report” We have since gone back and forth with AQHA, everything is in order except for this facility adding the mare to the breeding report. AQHA has contacted her to no avail multiple times. We have also reached out to her multiple times privately leaving us no option but to bring this to the public’s attention. All in all a horrible experience, we have a beautiful unregistered filly after spending a ton of money and zero help from the stallion owner."
