"DON'T EVER USE THIS TAX PREPARATION SERVICE!!!!!!! Nelson (the supposed owner) is in my opinion basically incompetent. He completed 3 returns for me charging $1000.00 total and I had to basically tell him what to do. One task he was supposed to do was write a letter to the Franchise Tax Board on my behalf for my mother-in-law. Over 5 months later, the letter has still NOT written. Calling the office number numerous times resulted in my not being able to talk to him as always I was told "he is with a client". After the 5 months with no contact from him, I decided to personally go to his office to see if I could speak to him. After slightly raising my voice to his receptionist, he came out of an office in back. He stated that AFTER 5 MONTHS, he had not got around to writing the letter. I asked him when I might expect the letter and he responded "when I get around to it". He then asked me to leave his office which I started to do. As I was walking out the door. he said, "your mama is a -----". That from a "professional". That of course didn't go over to well and a few more words were exchanged in the lobby. My wife overheard us at that time and asked me to leave with her, which I did. This person took over Wheeler's Tax Service this year after the passing of Vicky Wheeler. In the past, our taxes were done by Wheeler's for decades in a professional competent manner. I have actually prepared taxes in a volunteer role and can say that in my opinion, this person borders on incompetent and certainly is not professional when dealing with clients. ..."
