"Reign provided excellent service. I would highly recommend Reign to any Triton Customers… very knowledgeable, proficient, and kind. He explained all the work that needs to be completed thoroughly and even showed pictures. He also took his time and kept me updated step by step. Also assisted me clean the backyard. "I am an extremely unhappy former customer of Triton, and I would encourage anyone looking for HVAC service to seek another provider. I contacted Triton to request a visit to my home since my central AC unit was constantly starting and stopping. Triton stated that it would be a $95 charge for them to come onsite and determine the cause of the issue, and this fee would be credited back if any repair work was performed. The technician arrived 2 days later and concluded that there was a pin-hole leak that would be easily solved with leak sealant and new refrigerant. It cost $1628, which I paid in full. The technician also convinced me to sign up for Triton's $29 a month subscription service for bi-annual inspections of my home's two central AC units. 2 days later, the same AC unit failed again. I immediately contacted Triton. They said that it is now their conclusion that there must be a bigger leak and that the leak sealant did not work, despite what the technician stated. Now, Triton said, I must pay over $1000 in new charges just for them to determine the source of the leak. Meanwhile, the original $1626 would not be refunded in full since it was sealant and refrigerant that cannot be reclaimed. In summary, Triton (a) misdiagnosed the problem during their visit, (b) never disclosed that their service call fee excludes leak detection, (c) charged me $1628 to do useless work that did not solve the problem, (d) sold me into signing up for their useless subscription service, (e) then asked for over $1000 to have them return just to try to find the issue again. Buyer beware. I would strongly encourage you to find another provider. This is a $1628 total loss, not a small amount. Also, when setting up any appointment, I suggest you request a senior technician with at least 15 years experience so that you know you are getting sound advice."
