"Very honest people to sell your jewelry to! Was trying to sell my very heavy gold bracelet and every gold shop I went in Santa Monica was trying to low-ball me by giving me the 75% of the actual price. I almost gave up and wanted to sell it online where a shop offered me almost 95% of the actual price, but I was a bit hesitant as its hard for me to trust an online store specially with an expensive gold item. I wanted to give a one more try in finding a store near me. That's when I came across Wilshire coin! As soon as I entered the store I was introduced with Mr. Tom and after a just few moments on checking my bracelet, to my pleasantly surprised he offered the exact same price that the online store i came across to offered. I didn't made the deal the same day but I went back the next day (unfortunately Mr. Tom was not there) and made the deal with Mr. John which was very nice and gave me the same price as Mr. Tom offered (I'm saying this because the gold price is never the same in a period of 24hrs and that day it was slightly down). "Unfortunately these guys are willing to waste everyones time including their own. I called in because I had two gold coins I was looking to get a quote on and they said they were too busy but they would be happy to look at them if I stopped in. I specifically asked them over the phone if they only pay spot price or if they pay the value of the graded coin and they said they do pay the value of the graded coin if its graded by a well known company like PCGS. I go to their store and I show them my two coins and they gave me a quote for $2065 on my PR69 2020 V75 1 Oz American Eagle and $2345 on my PR70 2020 V75 1 Oz American Eagle V75. Any quick google search will show you that these prices were worse than lowballing. They were entirely scam prices and if you sold even JUST the lower grade PR 69 they would have 1.5x their money on the sum of BOTH offers they gave me. These guys are supposed to be professionals but its clear that they are here to scam you on pricing and waste peoples time when they could have just told me these prices over the phone. I understand stores need to make a profit but it's one thing to give a quote while having room to make a profit but it's an entirely other situation to give scam quotes hoping that the seller doesn't realize what they have. Other than that the place is well secured, clean and nice. Only two parking spaces so look for street parking if parking is not available."

"Wilshire Coins is an excellent place I highly recommend for every person looking to sell precious metals and coins, checks it out. I sold him a 100, 10 and a 1 gram bar and he gave me 80 dollars which is a good price. I asked him what coins I can buy from Tom which is the person who helped me he showed me a few I ended up buying a Buffalo nickel from him and he sold it to me for 30$ instead of 40$ which is a really kind gesture that I appreciate. He even gave me 5 free coin binders. I took the rest of the the money that I traded in and left happily."
