"This spot is cool. According to River Report Card on Google, the water quality is A+. When I went there I wasn't sure how the water quality was. My friends and their kids went in and also jumped off the rocks. If you do plan to do that. Ask the people around that know where the low spots are when you jump in. But always tuck your legs when you hit the water. Some teenagers there touched the bottom in multiple areas. There are rock climbing areas. I saw people with ropes and climbing gear at one end of the pool. Some people were also free climbing. Bring drinks, snacks and towels. I saw someone also have a hammock setup. Clean up after yourself. There are bins heading back on the main trail."

"Really so much to see here and so beautiful. Lots of Sycamores and Oaks. Malibu Creek and the swimming hole was pretty nice. I think they film a lot around here. Somehow I felt like I had been there before. I mostly waded and watched the daredevils throw themselves from the cliffs into the pool below. You can for sure you can find were thet filmed "Planet of the Apes". Be prepared for a bit of a trek and bring plenty of H2O TIP: Park near meadow trailhead"

"Stopped by on Saturday around 10am. We did the Malibu Creek Rock Pools hike which was about 1.3 miles from where we parked. The views are amazing, and the path is wide. We tagged along with a group of park rangers that were going over some fun facts and information about the park. I think the loop took us about an hour, and that includes spending some time at the pool, watching people rock climb."

"This is an absolutely gorgeous hike. My sister and I brought our boys here with the intention of them being able to swim after a nice long hike. This is definitely not the place for that, at least not in August, because it is pretty dry. And, the water that is left, is pretty stagnant, and not swim worthy. But, the scenery is gorgeous, and the hiking is amazing! Very kid friendly. Lots of different walking trails. Just beautiful…"
