"Fast forward to 2023. Lydia no longer owns the establishment.. Corporate took over the Vallejo office on Sonoma Blvd.. The receptionist who booked appointments, gone. All 3 desks of tax preparers on the left side of the office, gone. All that remained were two tax preparers and double the cost from the previous year. I will never use Jackson Hewitt again. Now I'm thinking the first year was click bait. 588.00 for two W-2's and one month of self employment filing from 2022. "I Thought I Was Being Punked." FYI, I rent so there's not even mortgage interest to consider. Never Again!!!!!2023 UPDATE!!!I'm happy that my unfortunate miscomings at H&R block lead me to Jackson Hewitt. Thats no knock on H&R Block as a company. The tax preparer was unfamiliar with new COVID19 changes."

"Great experience! What a great team. My mom passed away this last December and we had her final taxes done ( We/the family, had made a mistake with who needed to sign the final return. We received a letter from the IRS and we needed to amend the tax returns quickly. I called Jackson Hewitt in Vallejo and spoke with Caroline, who was professional, warm and gracious. She understood my situation and immediately put me at ease. She took the information needed and prepared changes for Lydia the owner to review and take further. Caroline kept in communication with me until Lydia continue on with the returns. You can imagine how busy they must be at this time. I really was expecting to be put off or told they might be so busy that I would have to wait. That did not happen. Lydia kept the communication going and got everything wrapped up and confirmed very quickly. Even when I called, I spoke with Sandra who took my message and she was so pleasant. I highly recommend the Vallejo office because of their warm professionalism , great communication. I really appreciate great people who really care about helping and even better when they make a great team!"
