"Wrongfully charged me for a year plan I never wanted, contacted them within the day i was charged. Was told no one could help me. This company is comitting fraud taking peoples money and not following their policy of 30 day refunds. I shouldnt have to beg to get a refund when I never authorized the charge to begin with. Dont do business with this company. Too many red flags. So basically there IS no free trial period just a ficade to look like one btw^^ they arent offering a refund or any help vv responding to their reponse below. do not waste your time here, awful customer support"

"I can see how this service can help freelancers do their personal taxes. But beware if you have an LLC or business. I upgraded to their premium plan because one rep told me it would include preparation of complex tax returns for businesses. The next three support reps couldn’t get my tax filing started for businesses and said they only do personal. Also no phone number or one live human to talk to give a singular answer. I was a little too optimistic about what this technology could do for my business and really in the end it’s the lack of communication and real live support that was a complete disappointment and waste of time."

"REVIEW EDIT: I am changing my review to reflect the current situation as of now. I have read your response to my review, and I am a business owner myself. Sadly providing the best support over text/email is something that majority of business are trying to do, and almost every one of them are failing to provide efficient service which causes confusion and bad reviews. I have to leave bad reviews for companies to reach out to me and my problems to be realized or taken seriously. Otherwise, my requests/concerns usually get ignored, or brushed off completely. I have been talking with them about their system and hopefully I can provide input that will help them improve. Cons: - no PC or computer software support, only tax filing - phone based app has issues and will not allow rules to be created, slowing down productivity due to having to go through every transaction instead of making rules. - no phone support, only email. This makes problems hard to fix and makes it hard for the customer to effectively communicate their problems when they may not be technically/computer savvy. - No rule creation unless prompted by the app, which it only prompts when you are selecting an item as "not a write-off". Forcing manual entry which defeats the purpose of this app. - This year the app was changed and some features seem like they were not tested. (rule situation above) Pros: - This product has worked well for me the last 2 years. - When there has been service provided, it has been pleasant and quick to reply. kudos for that - monthly fee is very low, great for entry level businesses - They do respond, but it may take up to 48 hours. - app is easy to navigate despite the changes that were made with the most recent update - easy to export your write offs into a PDF or excel format. Caitlin has been great, if that is who I am really talking to. Usually quick to reply but sometimes the replies are a bit generic, which I understand. Sadly there are still some things that need to happen before a 5 star review can be left. My Wife owns two businesses and left Keeper due to the same reasons above and having issues.
