"I had a roof leak due to the storms this winter at our cabin in Tahoe. My insurance company sent out Zebra as they are on the “network” of contractors. They came out and removed now over the winter to tarp my roof. After the snow melted we were able to assess damages. It took some time to get the estimate approved. There was a lot of back and forth with the insurance adjuster not wanting to pay for everything. Our estimator Robert did a great job at fighting for all the items that we felt were owed. We finally started work and so far communication has been great. The entire staff has been great! They helped so much get through the insurance portion which is a headache! Now we can just get our cabin out back together. These reviews don’t show the experience we have had. Highly recommend."

"My insurance company contracted with Zebra to fix some some wall cracking and water damage from the snow last winter. First off these guys grossly overcharged my insurance company. This should have been a major red flag but since I didn't see their estimate until my insurance had already approved it I thought just rolling with their overpriced quote would be the fastest way to get my repairs done. Big mistake on my part. After five months of stalling and excuses I finally got the work scheduled in September after basically demanding they put my job on the schedule. My insurance had approved their quote in May. They ended up sub-contracting the work out to a third party. The day of the appointment the guy shows up over an hour late. I have to help the guy move my furniture because he's by himself. He then completes a fraction of the work that my insurance was billed for before leaving a mess in my condo. In the end this company was such a pain to deal with that I opted to pay out of pocket to have someone else finish the job rather than let these guys finish what my insurance had already paid them for. Zebra's business model is simple. Bill your insurance as much as they can possibly get away with then stall and perform as little work as possible in return. You've been warned."
