"I have been this boutique’s customer since 2016 and always had a pleasant experience until today when I wanted to return a ring I didn’t like after purchasing it with my watch last week, the customer service went down to a 0 the second I walked in. The associate quickly told me that the ring had wear signs on them and they aren’t able to take back. I mentioned to her that I only wore it for one day and hated the silver look and I’ll even take the gold one but she ignored me fully. I wasn’t bringing in a wear and tear item, had only worn it the first day. I asked if I can speak to a supervisor and she had the same tone with robotic responses suggesting I should gift it to someone after they clean and engrave it beCuse I don’t like it??!!. That’s how you take care of your customers? Now I understand why the associates make you wear the item as soon as you purchase it so they don’t have to take the return and impact their commission."

"Pretentious Sales Associate & requires Diversity Training and borderline DISCRIMINATION for a few a sales associates I had to endure. I actually contacted Cartier service online asking for a store manager to contact me, however never heard from an ambassador or client relations person. This week I went there to pick up my watch and the sales associate was interrogating me about "where and when did I get my watch" as though I didn't purchase it. Also asking if I wear my watch everyday. ??? I didn't understand her questioning. She was condescending, rude, and intentionally trying to make me feel small and inferior. I've purchased from this location before, and all my Cartier jewelry is real and purchased legitimately. To Cartier: please be mindful that people of diverse cultures too have the financial stability to purchase Cartier jewelry. There is no need to treat persons that are not of the same culture as your store associates like they are not worthy to have your products. I work, I pay my taxes, I pay my property taxes and I live a good life. I will not be back into that store."

"Look for Shirley for any of your Cartier needs. She is very professional and knowledgeable and gives good recommendations. She does take her time with clients and always ready to help if you feel overwhelmed with all the jewelries they have. She also have her own bracelet stack if you are curious on how it will look. So far I have nothing but positive experience with this boutique and we cannot wait to see the new Cartier once renovations are completed. Shirley's schedule may vary so I suggest calling the boutique first and ask for her schedule. I know a lot of prospective clients are hesitant to visit due to bad experience but Shirley will be the best one to help if anyone is on the market for Cartier jewelries or watches."

"South Coast Plaza’s Cartier is my favorite boutique despite having one closer to my house. All the staff are respectful and wait times are not that bad if you don’t have an appointment. I was helped by Shirley from the day I was just inquiring for a bracelet up to the time I was ready to purchase. She took her time and was very patient with me. I’ve been wanting to purchase a bracelet since 2017 but kept on delaying it and despite multiple price increase, I was so glad I did purchase now with the help of Shirley. She was very helpful in making this decision and gives good advice. I trust her opinion and she wasn’t pushy at all . I visited several times and knowing that I may not purchase yet, she didn’t hesitate to assist me and knowing that she has a lot of clients, and can be very busy, she didn’t forget about me and informed me about the event at South Coast. It was a busy day when I came, and Shirley was still able to accommodate me despite being hours late. Thank you for making our 10th year anniversary extra special. Costa Mesa is 100miles away from where I live but I’d rather drive that far and be helped by someone that is courteous and nonjudgmental SA. Thank you Shirley and the rest of Cartier staff, I hope to be back soon but you have our business now and always."

"Went on a Sunday afternoon with my two kids and we waited for probably 5 minutes. I knew what I was interested in before arriving so this expedited my process even more. My SA, Chen Li, was very knowledgeable and swift with assisting me in getting the ring(s) I had my eyes on. Within another 5 minutes we were in the parlor signing paperwork and completing the transaction with my Perrier in hand. Chen Li was so professional and polite I requested to purchase an additional ring because it just felt right. During this time, my kids were enjoying themselves while being offered snacks and coloring materials. As a parent, ensuring that not only myself but also my kids are having a positive experience is a big factor in selecting luxury brands to be loyal to. We will definitely return to this location in the future!"
