Planet Earth Rising 625 Sutter Street, Folsom, CA 95630

"Planet Earth Rising is a lovely little shop (well, medium sized at most) at one end of the historic Folsom district. (If you're there, there's also a cool museum down the hill a little.) I'd say this qualifies as a "new age" store. They sell minerals, gemstones and jewelry; a small area with clothing; a back (not hidden or anything) room where some more expensive things are displayed; many kinds of incense and holders; tarot cards; a small section for kids. I like to go and basically window shop, buy a rock or two and just enjoy the nice smell and look at the sparkly things. Prices are what I would expect for that kind of business. There is a small and tricky parking lot on the same side of the street, which is okay to use. There's a bigger one across the street but they may restrict parking."

"This store is such a gem. Its operated by a husband / wife team who have been working on their business for a long time. The husband is a great guy, a very kind man who offered us a lot of tips on the correct way to use and care for the products we bought. I came for a particular stone, he gave me one for free when I declined due to the price. He was super cool. I would have given 5 stars, but, the wife. She was throwing some super negative vibes at us. They are very reasonable in their pricing and knowledgeable of the products and their uses. They had a lot of beautiful products, it was hard to decide on which to buy. We bought a lot of gifts there. They put the names and uses of their products on them, which was really awesome! Their store is located in Old Town Folsom, which is buried in a bunch history with all the historical buildings to prove it. You're walking into a real town from the old west when you visit old town Folsom."
