"My kids got free tickets from summer reading and it's not open even though it says it is today. Even when you call it says it's open today."
"Took my young kids here. Loved that there are two pools. One for actual swimming, and one for small children. Lots of shady areas to sit. Life guard wasn’t overly attentive at the children’s pool so we nearly had an incident but everything turned out ok."
"The pool is never a good temperature. It is also over-chlorinated, making you feel like you will regurgitate. The pool causes nose pain and gives you cold symptoms after exposure to the water. You will notice aromas of cigarettes and cannabis while there. The facilities are not nicely maintained in general. It was recently resurfaced though."
"They need to adjust the hours. Trying to decipher them is ridiculas! Trying to remember which hours on which days fir which pool is nuts. Also they should offer night swim. This is Livermore after all, and it's ridiculously hot. I think more hours would be greatly appreciated for those with children and those who do not have their own pools."
"We love walking to our neighborhood pool on a hot day. It's clean and has lots of shady seating. A shallower pool for the younger kids who are learning to swim and a deeper pool for the older kids to be cool. It's clean and the lifeguards are VERY attentive. I just wish it was open for more of the year."
