"We first scheduled a cleaning at 9am on a Saturday. She had to change it to Sunday at 9am because she forgot she double booked. Sunday comes around and she texts me at 9am, saying she will be a bit late. I said that’s fine and I’ll leave the door unlocked while I run to the store quickly. I run to Ace and get what I need to patch up some things. She’s still not there. I text and ask when she might arrive. She then says she needed to buy cleaning products. By this time it’s 10:15am. I decide to leave, as I needed to do things at my new place, so I allow her to let herself in. I’m getting upset and frustrated because of her poor communication about what’s going on and when she will actually arrive. Besides, she’s already not kept her commitment with me for Saturday and then now 9am today. She ended up going to my new place and being confused about where she should be cleaning, even though I have given her the address 2 times via text prior. I explain to her what’s what. And she says she can still clean my place, and she’s sorry. She drives away to finally clean my old place. I let her know the location once again via text and where to park and enter. But no. She ends up texting me saying she refuses to clean for me because I’ve been rude and disrespectful, even though she is the one who didn’t understand and was confused. I was clear and direct.. Anyhow, good luck running a business like this. Beware."

"Maria was paid to clean a kitchen in a rental. She was shown the job and she said she would do it thoroughly. Maria cleaned fairly well the first day when she was by herself. The cupboards she did that day were pretty well done. She did not get the dishes clean, though, that she said she'd washed (still greasy and food encrusted) and she did not stay the full day as she said she would. Came two days later, after changing her arrival time twice, this time with a friend. Neither did much. Laughing and giggling. Texting. Had to keep showing them the obvious spots that were missed the first day as well as ones that day. Maria would say, "I do now" but never did most of it. Had to keep giving them the same directives over and over. Dishes were still left with food and grease on them and most spots she missed that I showed her were still not cleaned off cupboards. This was NOT a language difference thing at all or too hard of work. The third day Maria came late, after first changing the time and then after trying to get out of coming entirely. We had been waiting hours. She last texted us "3:30 maybe." We asked her in a text what was going on? No response. We didn't know if she would even show at all. She showed up at 2:10 p.m. unannounced. This time she brought a girl who looked about eleven that Maria insisted was 24. Maria gave her orders while she texted on her phone. I, yet again, showed them both the same dirty dishes and spots on the cabinets that were missed two work days in a row. Soon she said she had to leave shortly after she finished the shelf paper she had started to install two work days earlier. "Sorry," she said. She had only been there about twenty minutes. I told her to go right now. I hate to say this but she is lazy and unproductive. Does not keep appointments. Leaves early, always having a 'famiily emergency' or babysitter issues. Brings unknown women and young girls to help her while she stands around talking or texting. Pretends not to understand you when it is convenient. Is capable of good work as the first day showed, but would rather not."
