Took it back and they said that they had to charge me $65 to fix it again because they supposedly had to add more gold. "I was very impressed with the owner and what he did for me. I had already been to two other jewelry places here in Turlock and had been very disappointed in what they said. I had two pieces of jewelry that I asked about repairs, and I was hoping to get it done before leaving on a cruise at the end of the next week, so about 7-8 days. The quotes I got were astounding! The claimed work that would be needed, parts to replace and order, time needed was going to be at least a month to get finished and cost more than $760! I went to Mr. Martinez and I'm so happy I did. He looked at both pieces of jewelry, a set of diamond earrings and a necklace with a loose stone. After examination, he said he could have both repairs done by Tuesday of the next week, AND, the cost was only $43.00!!! I was astounded and relieved that he could do this. Then came the biggest surprise of all!! Suddenly he said, if you have a few minutes to wait, I'll do it all for you right now. I spent approximately 30 minutes in his shop and am very happy with the quality and care of my jewelry. Needles to say, I know that what he did for me is not the usual, but I so appreciate his thoughtfulness. I told him to bump the payment to $50. It was well deserved!! I'll definitely be returning to him for other repairs that are needed."

"BE AWARE THIS STORE HAS PERSONAL FAMILY & FRIENDS THAT LEAVE REVIEWS FOR THEM, THEY'RE NOT REAL CUSTOMERS. Horrible experience! A gold 10k necklace was purchased for me as a grift in December. I wore it ONE time and after that the color turned very dark and almost black color. I never used it after that because it looked very ugly. We've been trying to get it looked at but first off whenever we go to the store no one is ever there or they arrive super late. Finally I was able to see someone today and the man and woman blamed me for it turning that color Because I probably have oily skin! I have dry skin first off and it shouldn't turn black after only wearing it once for about 2 hours only! I tried to sell it back to her and she offered me only $46 because it was used even tho it was worn once for a couple hours! They said I probably went swimming or it seemed someone tainted it and tried to see if it was real Gold. Literally EVERY excuse they gave me made no sense. She offered to keep it and clean it but they had already done that a few days prior and the color didn't change!! Horrible horrible experience and never again! Hundreds of dollars gone down the drain! I'll never wear this necklace again and we can't even get our money back or at least most of it after they sold us a cheap necklace. Big mistake of my fiance coming here."
