"Very disappointed with Henry and his cleaning company, Mena’s Cleaning Service. When we first interviewed for cleaners many years ago, both Henry and his wife came our home. They were very nice showing us that they were fully insured and totally understood our wishes for a good, quality and thorough cleaning of our home. As Henry’s business grew with our neighbors seeing his company’s name printed on his cars parked around our beautiful home, his fees kept increasing while the quality kept declining with Henry himself getting more arrogant and abusive in his attitude towards old time customers like us. Despite our continuous effort to remind Henry that the home must be kept cleaned the way we had discussed, he kept sending new, un-trained and non English speaking cleaners to our home without caring to warn us in advance or coming to the house with them himself to show and teach them exactly what they should do. Instead, he let us be the ones who trained his new workers for him. Due to our long term relationship with him, we tried to help but it became exhausting and unacceptable as we found ourselves having to keep starting all over with new cleaners every time. Using google translate also painfully prolonged the agony. Since the boss was not around, many of the new, temporary workers did not even care to follow our cleaning instructions, our home was getting dirtier and dirtier with many things forgotten or not even cleaned. To make matters worse, whenever Henry’s cleaners broke any valuable things, Henry would threaten us not to make him pay as he told us that his other customers pay more with less work and never asked him to pay for any damages caused by his cleaning ladies!!! Then one day, his people somehow shattered our sliding glass shower door into pieces while rushing to finish the job as fast as possible to go to the next house. A an emergency to clean up the sharp messes and replace the broken glass door asap so people can use the shower, we helped bringing in a trusted handyman who was able to replace the whole door the same day whereas Henry’s handyman acquaintance would have to special order the door that would require the wait time of at least 3-4 days before he may have time to install it for us. Instead of feeling thankful for our promptness and the willingness to help that saved Henry both time, effort and cost so that he could freely enjoy his weekend with his family, while we were stuck working with the handyman and the store to get the replacement door in place, Henry defiantly refused to pay the bill and started to say that it was our door that was broken by itself. Even when we offered to help pay half, he refused and said he would only pay 1/4 of the total cost and that he did not want to use his insurance even though he told us his cleaning company is fully insured. We had no choice but took whatever he offered and started looking for other cleaning company. As your neighbor, we would caution you against Henry and his cleaning service as he is trying to get as much money as possible from home owners but refused to pay for damages caused by his people while overworked the few cleaners he had spreading over as many houses in a day as possible so that his ladies were often tired, stressed, rushed, resentful and unhappy. Perhaps that is why we have so many new replacement workers appeared in our home unannounced and untrained."

I use Mena's Cleaning for my regular weekly cleaning service and the quality of cleaning has remained consistent from the start and it has been over two years now. I recently hired them to clean all the windows in our house. It is a very challenging job because of the number of windows as well as some of the design features of the house, which makes getting to a few of the windows very tricky.
