"This doesn’t seem so much like a carpet cleaning business as a referral business. Called and set up a cleaning for a 1 room office. They quoted me $75 in the phone. When the guy arrived, he was from a different company and said that it actually counted as 2 rooms because of the size, and that there was also a trip fee and a 4% surcharge for using a credit card. So my $75 cleaning ballooned to $207. The cleaning literally took 15 minutes. I went ahead with it because it was convenient, but kinda shady."
