North Bay Carpet Cleaning

"We had our carpets cleaned by North Bay Carpets recently - easy to schedule, affordable and overall good experience. John provided a quote over the phone and once he toured the house he ended up charging less. Really appreciated how he worked around our furniture and my husband who was working from home that day. I plan to start using North Bay Carpets a couple times a year now that I know how easy and affordable it can be."

"Very bizarre experience with John. He seemed nice over the phone. I arranged my work schedule and didn't go to work today so that I can be home today when he arrived to clean our carpets. I had my kids move all of their stuff so he has easy access and we moved all of the furniture out of the way. He arrives, sees that we are having work done on the driveway (mostly done and it's just hard dirt) and he suddenly says this is not the best time to do this. I let him know that it's ok for him to pull his van in the driveway (it's a huge driveway and we park in our driveway as it is) and ensure him that it's ok. He starts coming in the house so I can show him the carpets. We take our shoes off in the house so I offer him shoe covers (which people in such businesses usually have with them) or he could have offered to take his shoes off (which I didn't ask him to be polite). As soon as I suggest the shoe covers, he gets annoyed and says "I am cleaning your carpets!" and I say "I know". We have young children and keep shoes out of the house. He then says that he doesn't want to do this, it's just too weird, he doesn't feel like doing it, etc!! so strange. I ask why and he says because I just don't, it's just weird. And he left! I was kind of shocked and I called his cell to let him know the trouble we had gone through to get ready for him today and let him know that it wasn't very nice or professional of him and he said it's very professional and that he has a right not to do it if he doesn't want to. Ok! well, he sure does, but here is my first negative review ever on line. John, please reconsider how you manage situations like this. It's not fair to people who make arrangements to leave them hanging like this. There was nothing that we couldn't have worked out while you were here. Nothing was THAT strange!"
