"I initially sought out Dr. Sung for rapid hair loss after he was recommended by a friend. Ill be honest, I was embarrassed of the hair-loss and really nervous before our first appointment. But after meeting him, I realized all that nervousness was for no reason. Dr. Sung was professional, kind, and just overall a pleasure to work with. He took his time with the consultation, provided many different options that were appropriate for me, and came up with a plan together rather than just imposing 1 treatment on me. "I had a scary experience with an outbreak of hives that would not go away after a few days. I tried a few off the counter medications that were not effective in mitigating the effects. I gave True Dermatology a call and made an appointment. The doctor prescribed me a week of allergy pills. After a week of taking these pills, the rashes settled down and eventually disappeared completely. "For YEARS, whenever I went out in the sun, I would break out in a blistering rash all over my skin, and a very painful crusting rash over my lips. I have seen SO many dermatologists who have recommended treatments ranging from just sunscreen to oral steroids prior to sun exposure, but the treatments either did not work or came with unwanted side effects--especially long term steroid use. This went on for over 10 years!! I was starting to lose hope and every year when summer would come around, I would have to take great lengths to not even expose myself to the sun for over 20 minutes at a time. Dr. Sung is the best dermatologist I have seen both in terms of diagnosing me properly, listening to my needs, and providing proper treatment. I will now be going to him for all my dermatology needs, and I highly recommend him!!"

"I found true dermatology through a friend of mine who came here before and came in after discovering hair loss due to an immune reaction that the doctor was able to diagnose immediately. He started me off with some local injections and while I was quite concerned initially due to the large patch of baldness, after a few months it went away completely. Now I cant even spot where the bald soot used to be and am truly thankful for the treatments. I’m now visiting Dr. Sung for preventative hair loss treatments since this seems to be an genetic issue within the family. Highly recommend this caring and thoughtful doctor!!
