"The woman at the front desk who asked for my insurance today for my appointment with Dr. Bemanian was extremely rude. She asked for a physical copy of my insurance in a tone that suggested she was already in a bad mood at 9:20am. When I told her I didn't have a physical copy but had it on my iPhone "wallet," she immediately became aggressive. In a harsh tone, she said that the insurance I submitted to them was a screenshot from my iPhone “Wallet App” and was not sufficient. I never submitted a copy of my insurance as proof of document. I texted the provided number for questions and inquiries, asking if Dr. Bemanian accepts BlueShield HMO Insurance and thought to add a screenshot of my insurance to help clarify. To which I NEVER received a response. So when I walked in today, that woman went into attack mode, telling me that the insurance I submitted was not sufficient. As if to say, I formally submitted an insurance document for your record. I did not know how to respond to her. All I knew was I was starting to feel anger by the unexpected unnecessary harshness. Thankfully, the nurse who walked me in to office quickly tried to calm the situation by kindly showing me how to access my insurance on my phone and guiding me away from the front desk. She was incredibly kind and professional, exactly what one would expect from someone in the healthcare industry."

"Nurses and Dr. Lee were outstanding. 5 years of anxiety and cancellations all due to not feeling comfortable with the process. Dr. Lee and the nurses were the most understanding and supporting center I have encountered. They explained everything thoroughly and answered all my questions and concerns with so much patience. "Had Colonoscopy performed by Dr. Lee. Other than the fasting and the laxatives (which is required anyway), the procedure was smooth and no side effects suffered. Now I'm happy it's done and no anomalies found."

Still waiting for approval and my procedure is scheduled in a few days. Someone dropped the ball and screwed everything up.
