"I dropped off my 2 dogs for boarding for 5 nights. I missed them, but I didn't worry about them at all. It cost an extra $5 per dog for playtime when boarding and there's also a $5 discount for my dogs sharing a kennel. I didn't give much information about my dogs when I dropped them off, but I could tell that the staff spent time with them. They noticed how my 3 yr old likes to play around all day, non-stop with other dogs. They also noticed that the 9 yr old loves to play fetch. Those were things that told me about my babies when I came to pick them up. I didn't think they would have any real one-on-one attention, but I guess I was wrong. When I got them back they seemed happy. When we got home they were tired and so was I. I was a little worried about leash walking them because I thought they would be so untamed after romping around for so long, but they were perfect. I would highly recommend VIP Boarding and Daycare. I have used the daycare before as well and have never had an issue."

"We have taken our animals here a few times. Each time they come home a mess, their fur nasty and smelling terrible. I strongly do not suggest this place. The kennels are small and the dogs seem to stay in them for longer periods than overnight, though I have no way of knowing this for sure, we have returned home in need of new dog beds because their was feces on them. Based on this, I assume the dogs aren't being let out to play very much during the day."

"Place is dirty! no dog beds for your boarding animals. Baby blanket that smells like feces and pee on grate is what they sleep on if you do not provide bed. Infested with rats inside and out. Little dog area for daycare has no beds or toys. Just all little dogs put in a room unsupervised. Big dog daycare is the same basically. And if they fight a high pressure hose is used to spray them. Dont believe me show your dog the hose when you get home. your paying to put your dog in a kennel alone for a day. The new owner is no longer the new owner he was let go by Genna of North bank kennel. She took the " new business" back over. If your thinking of working there.. You should rethink that. No taxes out of paychecks. And long hours with no breaks"

"The negative reviews here are personal issues. One I believe is from someone that hasn't used the kennel. I know for a FACT that they feed my dogs, use their bedding, and give them their medications. There is one review I saw below that is flat out lies. It is a long one, you'll know which one I mean. Unfortunately, you don't have to have used this kennel to post a review. Here is my story: I have been using Northbank since 2006. The staff is awesome. Very attentive! I have two boys that sometimes don't get along. The staff is very good about keeping an eye on them and separating when needed and then calling me and letting me know it happened. The facility is nice and the sanitation is excellent. The facility is secure. High fences and multiple barriers between kennels and exterior doors. It would be near impossible for a dog to get loose. They keep everything clean and wash the facility often. One year I was in Hawaii when a large earthquake hit and a tsunami watch was in affect for the north coast. I called the kennel from Hawaii and found that Northbank had a contingency plan in place and was ready to evacuate the animals if needed. I don't worry when my dogs are there. I know they are in good hands."
