"I can’t say enough good things about this place. My puppy was a rescue and needed so much help. Tony was amazing with him and helped train me too. LOL. He explained why he was doing everything he did and what to do if my baby back tracks on his training. He even came to the house twice to make sure training was being reinforced. Office staff was super friendly and answered my questions whenever needed. Highly recommend."
"I had a disappointing experience with this dog training and boarding business. The staff seemed indifferent, and my dog didn't show any improvement in behavior after the training. The facilities were subpar, and I had concerns about cleanliness. Additionally, communication was nonexistent and was not updated on my dog's progress during the boarding period. Overall, not worth the money spent, and I wouldn't recommend this service"
"I recently rescued a German Shorthaired Pointer named Oakley, and was a bit stressed out since I had 4 cats. Oakley had no prior exposure to cats and his breed are known to not do well with small animals. I sought out quotes from various trainers near me and TJ gave me a call an hour after my inquiry. He was the first to send me anything and was excited about what was to come. He let me know that I would be working with Tony since Tony specializes in working with the dog’s psyche. I went in for an introduction and Tony got to meet Oakley. Immediately, everyone treated us like family. They were all welcoming and excited for our task. Tony gave me a reasonable quote for in-home sessions and we started the next week. During our sessions, Tony used prior experience to make the entire process easy and stress free. He knew what would work best with our Oakley. I was never scared or afraid and always trusted Tony’s opinion. The results showed almost immediately. In between our sessions, I asked Tony for further advice on what I could do to improve Oakley’s co-existence with our cats. Tony emphasized many times that if I had any questions to reach out to him. By our 4th session, Oakley was doing amazing. All thanks to Tony and the team. Because of how great Oakley did, we pivoted to recall work. It was great since Oakley and I do a lot of hiking. Tony was accommodating and always respectful. His experience and knowledge were invaluable. AJ and Dejah provided great customer service whenever I talked with them. Overall, I had such an amazing experience with this team. 10/10 would recommend!!! Do not hesitate!!"
"Wouldn’t recommend leaving your dog here for training. This family business is run by scammers. My dog came here for training and they didn’t train him but still charged me. Also take note that their yelp has fake 5 star reviews."
"I left my dog in the care of First Class Boarding and Training for a 25-day board and train program and was left being scammed. Let me begin with stating this family establishment does not allow video access to view dogs nor did they provide proof of trainings In the final week of my dog’s stay I received multiple calls and voicemails. This was very strange since I did not receive these types of notifications during the entire duration beforehand. The calls included them trying to send my dog home 3 days early and later labeled as a courtesy “conversion”. This recommendation was never mentioned in our initial consultation with the behaviorist Tony was it mentioned in the communications with the executive manager Anjelique or trainers Dejah and Tony Junior (TJ). After declining their generous offer to bring my dog home early I receive a notification stating a change in my dog’s grooming. I had previously planned my dog to be groomed the day of pick up but because they tried to send my dog home early my dog was also groomed early Additionally, they called again, left a voicemail, and texted stating no one would be available for my original pick up time during business hours and I would need to pick up my dog at 7:30PM Upon pick up my dog was placed in the hallway between the designated dog rooms. Of the two rooms including the room my dog previously stayed in were now fully occupied. Very suspicious and it brought concerns for how long my dog had been placed in the hallway, the past 3 days perhaps? It was a holiday weekend so it leaves me to believe they overbooked and no longer had space or time for my dog During pick up the trainers read my instructions of care and asked questions “what do you mean by sloppiness”, “what do you mean by impatience”, and “does he have problems brushing his teeth?” This brought suspicion if the instructions were acknowledged Upon my dog's return, I noticed the supplements and supplies I left for my dog remained brand new and untouched. I also noticed distressing new behaviors (potty accidents in crate, potty accidents in the house, excessive crying, anxiety when left alone, lunging at strangers, kids, and other dogs, not knowing basic obedience or even commands) along with health issues (severe dandruff and diarrhea for nearly a week) that contradicted the assurances given regarding their care and training techniques I tried giving benefit of the doubt and focus on seeking help for my dog but the conversations consistently devolved into them shifting blame onto me, my cat, the environment and deflecting responsibility, and failing to acknowledge the issues at hand I specifically asked my dog to be trained neutrality yet my dog now has anxiety and uncontrolled excitement around everyone. Whereas previously before their care my dog did not cry or lunge at other dogs or people. They did not provide substantial proof of my dog being trained other than a single 6 second video with no audio of my dog walking near another dog, and a 26 second video of my dog in the familiar facility with the familiar trainers Despite their promise to refund upon presenting evidence of the encountered issues, I provided the requested proof (a total of 10 separate videos all in different environments and situations, including dogs, kids, at home routines, in the car, at the store, indoor and outdoor of familiar areas) only to have them refuse to review the footage, thereby breaking their commitment I tried to remediate this by agreeing to meet face to face to show my dog’s lack of training, yet they claim unavailability. I would be available at after work at 5:45PM and offered to meet at public stores. They again make excuses and state there is no longer daylight and no one will be available, yet they state someone is always on site. But when it was convenient for them I was to pick up my dog after hours at 7:30PM This experience has left me feeling cheated. If anyone desires the recorded evidence of my dog's post “training" condition after their care, I'm more than willing to share it"
