"Dr Ladia should lose her medical License to practice Psychiatry. She is dangerous in her reckless disregard for patient follow up and monitoring. She has not laid eyes on my daughter in 3 years other than video chat visits which always have connection issues and many times end up simply being a phone call. She asks the same questions every single time as if it’s the first time meeting us. She prescribes Black Box medications and has never ordered bloodwork to monitor liver functions. I had to have my child’s pediatrician order the blood work to make sure other organs were not being impacted by the medication Ladia was prescribing. One of the worst issues is she refuses to provide more than one refill at a time. This forces us to have to schedule video appointments every other month. Since she isn’t truly monitoring the patient, it begins to look like an insurance billing scam to increase revenue without having the overhead of an actual office to maintain. Because she is working remotely, there is zero patient care or office staff to assist with anything. She is constantly asking for us to send her the blood work another doctor had ordered. We gave permission for the Pediatrician to release records but Ladia has never requested them. The office staff is constantly attempting to push us to set up a patient portal to access appointments, medication refills, etc. We have been very clear that we do not want to have a portal Acct as there are many data breeches as they are notoriously insecure. One would think it would be the patients choice to use a portal or not. My child is again out of her medication and I’ve now spent two days and 5 phone calls in an attempt to obtain a refill. It is dangerous to abruptly stop Black Box medications and priority should be given to make sure that does not happen. This is malpractice at its finest. The “office” staff is equally reprehensible, rude and off putting. Perhaps they haven’t been told that the field of Psychiatry involves Black Box medications and is serious business, this isn’t the same as working at a 7/11 convenience store. I am qualified to speak on this matter as I am a medical professional myself. My next email will be to the CA Medical Board. Putting children in danger is not something many mothers take lightly."

"louella ladia is incompetent and uncaring and put me in immediate danger. she does not care about her patients. she refused to increase the dosage of my medication even though i disclosed suicidal ideation simply because i use cannabis to cope with debilitating nausea. she proceeded to promise me refills but instead cut ties with me as a patient without telling me and then went on vacation, forcing me to go cold turkey on the medication i’ve been on for 5 years. i would give her zero stars if i could."

"DO NOT go to Dr. Ladia or take your child to her. WORST mental health professional I have ever experienced, does harm. She is grossly incompetent, unprofessional, and has zero compassion. She doesn’t listen to your complete symptomology. She was rude, unkind, then refused to help my daughter and ended the telehealth visit by hanging up on us."
